Community Support Programs

                                                                                       Caring for People. Changing Lives.

At Brazil Master Cleaners, caring for others has always been at the heart of what we do. We believe that a helping hand, an opportunity, or a little extra support can make a meaningful difference in someone’s life.

Inspired by our founder Erica Kirk’s background in nursing and social work, our Community Support Programs reflect our commitment to individuals and families in the community we have called home since 2017.

  1. Empowering Women, Creating Opportunities: Helping Women Build Stronger Futures

For Erica Kirk, supporting women is personal. As a Latina and single mother, she worked hard to provide for her son while building a future for her family.

Before moving to the United States, Erica spent 17 years working for the Brazilian government as a social worker and nurse, serving families facing financial hardship. She saw how access to information, guidance, and encouragement could open doors.

In 2017, she founded Brazil Master Cleaners and began cleaning homes on her own. As clients came to know and trust her work, the company grew—and so did her desire to help other women pursue their goals.

Support Beyond Cleaning

Through our women’s empowerment initiative, we offer subcontractors access to resources at no cost to them, including:

  • Online English as a Second Language (ESL) courses
  • Information and guidance on household finances, parenting, and other everyday topics
  • Educational sessions on health, nutrition, and exercise
  • Assistance with starting a business
  • Online or in-person translation support
  • A lending library with books on a variety of topics
  • Referrals to professionals and service providers, including accountants, attorneys, doctors, dentists, mechanics, and childcare providers. Participating partners may offer discounts.

We also connect subcontractors with professionals who can share information about business growth, taxes, and civic responsibilities.

We hope to help women feel informed, supported, and confident as they work toward the future they envision for themselves and their families.

  1. Cleaning with Care: Complimentary Home Cleaning for People Facing Cancerr Futures

A cancer diagnosis can change everyday life in an instant. Between treatments, appointments, and time spent caring for loved ones, even ordinary household tasks can feel overwhelming.

Through Cleaning with Care, Brazil Master Cleaners offers complimentary home cleaning to people undergoing cancer treatment. Our hope is to provide a little relief, a comfortable place to rest, and one less thing for a family to worry about.

For Erica, this initiative is close to her heart. Her experience in nursing and social work taught her that caring for someone can take many forms—including listening, showing kindness, and offering practical help when it’s needed most.

Since 2017, we have had the privilege of supporting families through this initiative. Behind every home is a person with a story, and we are grateful for the opportunity to offer care and support.

How the Program Works

Churches, community partners, friends, and family members are welcome to refer someone undergoing cancer treatment who may benefit from a complimentary cleaning.

We review each referral individually. Services are offered at Brazil Master Cleaners’ discretion and depend on eligibility, service area, monthly capacity, and other program considerations. When available appointments are filled, referrals may be placed on a waiting list.

A referral or placement on the waiting list does not guarantee a complimentary cleaning. If we are able to move forward, our team will contact the person or family to discuss their needs before scheduling.

Refer Someone

If you know someone who could use a little extra support, we invite you to contact us.A clean home cannot take away the challenges of cancer. It can, however, offer a moment of comfort and remind a family that they are not alone. Complimentary services are subject to individual review, program criteria, availability, and monthly capacity.
